The SeaDAC USB to 8 A/D, 2 D/A, DIO Multifunction Interface provides 8 differential or 16 single-ended 12-bit analog inputs and 2 12-bit D/A output channels, making it a versatile tool for data acquisition and control applications. The A/D inputs offer selectable voltage ranges (0-5V, 0-10V, ±5V, ±10V) and can be configured for 4-20mA current loop measurements. These inputs feature 5MHz bandwidth track/hold and a 100 ksps throughput rate, ensuring high accuracy and fast data acquisition.
In addition, the 8227 provides 8 optically isolated inputs, rated for 5-30VDC, with 300V external isolation, and 8 open collector outputs that can sink up to 580mA, making it perfect for switching 24V devices commonly used in industrial environments.
The module comes with removable screw terminals for easy wiring, and the SeaDAC module is housed in a rugged plastic enclosure. The USB Type B connector ensures secure and reliable connectivity. USB bus-powered, the device requires no external power supply, making it suitable for portable applications.
The SeaMAX software suite supports the SeaDAC family and provides seamless integration with third-party applications via SeaMAX API or Modbus RTU. Sealevel’s SeaMAX software drivers ensure easy installation and operation on Windows and Linux operating systems.
